MORE MEMBER OLYMPIC STORIES

Club members attend many Olympic events including the opening, closing and victoryceremonies. Others enjoyed the opening of Molson's House, Heineken House and other venues. Some attended the games and watched men's and women's hockey, speed skating, ice dancing and more.

As part of her fusion of western and Indian dance troupe, performed at Francophone Olympic Celebration on Feb. 11th, hockey game at GM Place on Feb. 21st, and Yaletown Live site on Feb. 27th.
Magdalen Leung
I was the Protocol and Hospitality Assistant for International and Domestic Diplomats stationing at different hotels. I have met many people from different parts of the world like the Vice President of US, Governor General Arnold, King of Norway, different sport ministers and judges of sports. I also had the opportunity of holding a gold, silver and bronze medal. I also met the two brothers from Quebec and their father. I was also able to go inside the Olympic Cauldron and feel it because of my special pass.

Was fortunate enough to be Dutch and worked in Heineken House, one of the most popular venues of the Olympics.
