Founded in 1998, the Richmond Sunset Rotary Club has been a cornerstone of community service and international outreach for over two and a half decades. Driven by the Rotary motto "Service Above Self", our club is comprised of dedicated individuals who share a passion for making a real and lasting difference.

We work closely with other Rotary Clubs, the Rotary Foundation, and local organizations to maximize our impact and create sustainable solutions. More than just a service organization, the Richmond Sunset Rotary Club is a place to:

Local Impact:

Richmond Food Bank Support

Our club understands the importance of food security and has provided ongoing support to the Richmond Food Bank, ensuring families in need have access to nutritious meals.
Richmond Hospital Acuity Care Tower

We proudly contributed CAD 50,000 towards the Richmond Hospital Acuity Care Tower, demonstrating our commitment to advancing local healthcare facilities.
Rotary Skate for the World

This beloved annual skating event, running for seven years, raised a remarkable CAD 203,799 for various local healthcare initiatives, becoming a testament to our community impact.

Global Reach:

Gift of Life Program

We've consistently dedicated substantial resources – over USD 500,000 – towards the Gift of Life program, providing life-saving heart surgeries for children in need across the globe.
Supporting Education in Haiti

Our club believes in the power of education. We provided essential school equipment and teaching materials to the Rainbow of Love School in Haiti, helping to create a brighter future for children.
Kabira Water, Sanitation and Education

Recognizing the importance of clean water and sanitation, we supported the Kabira project in Uganda, contributing to a healthier and more promising future for the community.
