Supporting an orphanage in Lanseria, South Africa

Since 2008, the Rotary CLub of Richmond Sunset has supported an orphanage and surrounding informal settlement in Lanseria, South Africa. We have sponsored various infrastructure upgrades to the orphanage, such as building an industrial kitchen, water purification system, a portable classroom, and food tunnels.

For many years, we facilitated a trip for highschool students to travel to South Africa for a cultural exchange and to aid with various projects in the orphanage and surrounding community.
