  • Primary Beneficiary

    The Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset has committed to building a Rotary Peace Garden as an addition to Garden City Park in Richmond, BC. The Peace Garden will be a serene addition to the existing park, allowing visitors to relax while reminding all of the importance of peace.

  • The Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset has established endowment funds with both Kwantlen Polytechnic University and the Richmond Community Foundation. Each year, we give out scholarships to Richmond locals attending post-secondary institutions.

  • The Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset has sponsored students at Steveston London and Hugh Boyd Secondary School to attend various leadership conferences and development activities, fostering strong young leaders in our community.

  • International Initiative

    The Rotary Foundation provides support to various International projects aligning with Rotary's 7 areas of focus such as:

    • Promoting peace

    • Fighting disease

    • Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene

    • Saving mothers and children

    • Supporting education

    • Growing local economies

    • Protecting the environment

  • In addition to monetary donations made to the Richmond Food Bank, Winter Wonderland encourages members of the public to drop off non-perishable food items at the drop-off station to support individuals in need during this time.

  • Richmond Hosptial Foundation

    For over 20 years, Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset has been a dedicated community leader in its philanthropic support of Richmond Hospital Foundation to shape a healthier future for people of all ages and from all across our richly diverse community. With donations that have been broad-reaching, Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset has provided exceptional contributions to the Emergency Department, Cardiology, Long Term Care and more. Today, their most recent exceptional gift of $50,000 is directed toward the Yurkovich Family Pavilion (new acute care tower) in Richmond.

  • Richmond Food Bank

    The Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset has been a great support to the Richmond community in need and a continuous partner of the Richmond Food Bank Society. Throughout the years, they have presented us with both monetary donations and food donations which allow the food bank to provide clients with healthier foods in larger variety.

  • Sponsorships start at $2,000.00 which includes one one 7.5 foot tree with multi colour micro-dots lights.

    • We welcome tree sponsors to display the corporation's products and services, as well as show the company logo.

    • A box noting the tree sponsor's name will be placed around each tree.

    • The sponsor's name will be displayed in various advertisements, including on our website. Advertisements for the event are run by our media sponsors, like the Richmond News.

    • Two representatives from your company will be invited to attend the opening ceremony at Richmond City Hall. The Mayor, City Councilors, MP, MLA, City Staff and guests will be invited to officiate the tree lighting ceremony.

    • Trees are setup in Mid November, and are visible to the public up to the second week of January

    • Sponsor can use their own decoration team or request the Winter Wonderland organizing committee to decorate the tree.

    • Decoration starts in November, and tree take down is in January
